I got up in the morning and fed the chicken. Next, i helped my grandmother cook for breakfast. Then, we had breakfast. After that, i washed the dishes and swept the floor. I saw my uncle, who lives not far from my grandparents' house, come. He would helped my grandparents' dry the unhulled rice in the concrete yard.

My uncle pulled sacks of unhulled rice to the yard. I helped him push the sacks. Then, we opened the sacks one by one and poured the unhulled rice to the yard. We spread the rice over the yard, so it would get dru evenly. We dried the rice until afternoon. After that, we set aside the rice with wooden spade-like tools to the edge of the yard and covered it with tarpaulin. For the next two days, we did the same things, so the rice were completely dry and ready to mill.
